SHANGHAI, CHINA. (September 26, 2014) Today, CONVERSE Inc. announces the launch of the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Color Weave sneaker collection, the first sneakers in the Asia-Pacific regionthat creatively reimagine the famous Chuck Taylor All Star silhouette with the help of a stunning hand-woven craftsmanship.The sneakers feature a highly technical one-piece upper, constructed using contrasting egret color strips to create a modern, premium look.

The striking graphic contrast and bold rainbow textured upper is offset with a clean, solid white midsole and toecap, with white accent details in the heel loops, laces and ankle piping. Tasteful leather branding on the iconic Chuck Taylor logo patch and tongue labels complete the sneakers’ stylish aesthetic.

The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Color Weave sneakers will be released online at Converse.com.cn on October 8, 2014 and will be available at Converse stores in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 for a MSRP of 799 RMB for the hi-top and 769 RMB for the ox.
